We saw them being demoed at Vertikal and were bowled over by their capabilities, so we thought we’d share with you some of the key reasons we decided to add these machines to our fleet at Mr Plant Hire, London.
Dingli 1008DC 26ft narrow scissor lift
Capable of reaching a working height of 10 metres, this Dingli is just 0.81m wide. This makes it the perfect narrow scissor lift for smaller spaces. As far as scissor lifts go, it’s light at just 2180kg and, being electric-powered, it’s perfect for indoor use.
Dingli 1212DC 32ft electric scissor lifts
Slightly heavier at 2965kg, this scissor lift has a much larger platform of 2.27m x 1.12m and reaching 12m, a higher working height than the 1008DC.
It has a slightly wider turning radius than the 1008DC but can also cope with a higher gradient in working slope.
Both Dinglis have the characteristic tight-turning radius and extendable platform for easy use. Handy features aren’t limited to when the machine is in use. Both these models have folding guard rails to make storage easier. There’s a foot lock and an emergency lowering system for enhanced safety too.
In addition to the Dinglis, we’ve also taken recent delivery of 15 Ecolifts here at Mr Plant Hire, London.
The Ecolifts have been particularly popular and it’s no wonder with complete height flexibility. It is easy and intuitive to operate with the operator just turning the handle to elevate the platform. It’s also lightweight and easy to maneuver with a small footprint of just 1.28m x 700mm, making it perfect for indoor tasks and those jobs where space is at a premium.
