The Herts Building Awards celebrate the otherwise unsung heroes of the building industry who achieve amazing things within the building industry and keep those working within it safe.
In light of this, we were delighted to sponsor the industry’s legendary Herts Building Awards 2018 that took place at Knebworth on 8th February. Leading businesses from across the building industry were welcomed to the black-tie event that celebrated the very best in building design and planning, architecture and development in Hertfordshire.
The event was hosted by TV veteran Tommy Walsh, best known for his role transforming gardens on Ground Force.
Mr Plant Hire was proud to sponsor the Building Excellence Awards which was scooped by Osprey Homes for their innovative and well-designed properties that, due to recent growth, can now be found in Hertfordshire, North London, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Of course, an awards evening should be an uplifting experience so we took along some of our scissor lifts for the occasion – it’s not often our plant equipment makes it to black tie events.
Our congratulations go out to all other category winners. Just a few of these leaders in the Hertfordshire building industry included Hawk & Chadwick who won Estate Agency of the Year for the second time running, Aubrey Homes who received the General Builder Award, SEC Group for winning the coveted Highly Commended Award, Terrain Surveys who took the prize for the Surveyors Award and Roger Mears Architects for winning an award for Refurbishment and Architect of the Year.
