When the Association of Fencing Industries (AFI) formed in 2016, one of the first goals they set themselves was to quantify the size of the market. Last week they announced that the fencing market is worth just over £1.1bn already and is in need of a further 1,000 trained workers each year to be able to meet demand.
The Federation, which was made up through the merger of the European Fencing Industry Association and the Fencing Contractors Association, stated that the total industry value of £1.105bn is split evenly between materials and installation.
Of course, for those fencing businesses that are growing, or for those businesses considering a move into fencing, buying the specialist fencing equipment that you need upfront isn’t always an option. It’s these businesses that stand to benefit most from the flexibility that Mr Plant Hire can offer on plant and equipment hire in London.
With manual and petrol augers, 0.8 ton mini-excavators, 9 ton excavators and everything in-between, hydraulic breakers (or peckers), dumpers and skip loaders, fencing businesses can hire the specialist fencing equipment they need, when they need it.
Hiring equipment also means that you have access to the equipment you need without having to lay your hands on high levels of capital investment. It also means you don’t have to worry about storage, or maintenance of your fencing equipment and plant.
Mr Plant Hire has branches in Enfield and Edmonton stocked with fencing equipment for hire. To enquire about hire rates, you can get a quote using our app, or by calling us on 020 8351 3434 and, if you aren’t quite sure what you need, we have a helpful team available to advise you on the best tool for the job.
