The Access Alliance held their recent meeting at the Genie Umbertide production facility in Italy, where Tony Crawford of Mr Plant Hire passed the Chairmanship of the group over to Steve Simmons of Star Platforms.
Tony Crawford said ‘I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Genie for their hospitality which was second to none, Francessco and all his staff at the facility including Jacco, John, Matt, Keith, Dave, Stuart and Kate were all fantastic hosts.’
He added ‘It’s been a pleasure chairing the Access Alliance for the past 26 months; with us collectively achieving a lot in recent times. It is fantastic to have the new service level agreement signed off at our meeting, which really raises the bar for us as members, enabling all our customers to have the confidence they need to deal with independent local companies nationally. This coupled with the improved machine matrix means both members and customers alike are in very good hands.
Incoming Chairman Steve Simmons commented “I’m looking forward to my role as Alliance Chairman, alongside the new Vice Chair Michelle Warren from Warren Access. Our recent trip to Italy with Genie was a fantastic opportunity for members to bond and get to know each other a little better in a relaxed environment.
We are a professional group who live and breathe powered access hire, with a focus on providing a first-rate service. The Access Alliance really works for clients and members alike. Members benefit from increased business levels and also save money via the Alliance buying group, whilst our clients can be sure that they’ll receive the same excellent levels of service both locally and across the UK.”
