On Saturday 6th September, MPH Hire & Sales was proud to support Enfield Town FC once again, bringing the local community together at the National League South fixture between Enfield Town and Weston-super-Mare at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium.
Despite a battling performance, Enfield were narrowly defeated 0–1 in front of a strong home crowd of 787 supporters. But while the result didn’t go our way, the day itself was a huge success — celebrating community spirit, collaboration, and connection.
Representing MPH on the day was Tony Crawford, supported by AER Rents’ John Mitchell and Benerice Bondjanga, alongside a raft of other MPH employees
Building connections beyond the pitch
At the heart of our presence was the MPH-branded marquee, where the team hosted a lively merchandise stall featuring:
Company leaflets and magazines
Branded air fresheners
AirPod cases
The ever-popular MPH hot sauces
There was also a strong collaborative focus to the day. Tony took part in an early interview with Drumsheds, discussing MPH’s role in supporting the community and the importance of local business partnerships. Later, Bea sat down with Drumsheds’ Senior Marketing Manager, Kizzy, for a conversation about the cultural and economic value Drumsheds brings to Enfield.
“Being part of events like this allows us to connect directly with the community we work within”

A day that showed what Enfield’s about
The Queen Elizabeth II Stadium buzzed with energy from start to finish. Families dropped by the MPH stall to chat with the team, learn more about our services and pick up some branded goodies. As kick-off approached, the crowds filtered into the stands, but the conversations and connections built during the day will carry on well beyond the match.
“Enfield Town FC plays a vital role in the local community and supporting events like this helps us champion that spirit,”
Tim Young, Managing Director, MPH
While the scoreboard favoured Weston-super-Mare this time, the real win came off the pitch: bringing people together, supporting local initiatives and showing what makes Enfield such a vibrant and connected community.
