At Mr Plant Hire PLC we offer a wide range of IPAF & PASMA Training in London. We have an accredited training center in Enfield, North London but also offer on-site training if required. We have been an IPAF member since 1997 and aspire to provide the highest level of training possible. We can train PAV, 1B, 3A, 3B for Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Static and Mobile MEWPS. PASMA Combined
What is PASMA training? PASMA stands for Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association. It’s a qualification that allows operatives to work at height on mobile access towers effectively and safely. PASMA for users is an all in one course that provides not only the necessary knowhow on what hazards to look out for. It also gives you the knowledge of working at height safety regulations. If you go on a PASMA course then your course will take up 1 day and will consist of both theory and a practical examination.
PASMA Combined is a different type of course which is for operatives who plan to assemble, dismantle and move around scaffolding. One section of this examination covers low-level access equipment such as folding towers and podium steps.
IPAF Courses
IPAF stands for The International Powered Access Federation. IPAF courses will provide you with the knowledge of maintaining safety and working effectively in Powered Access machines around the world. Thousands of businesses worldwide are responsible for making sure your staff are correctly trained and if you don’t you’re not only putting the operative and the users around him at risk but also your own business.
IPAF courses are made up of a mixture of theory and practical courses depending on the course that you’re taking. Once you have completed both sides of the exam you’ll be provided with a Powered Access License which will be valid for 5 years before you’ll need to renew again.
